Old Mutual Group Schemes headache

I have had policies with old mutual since i started working, 2008, i have an investment policy, and retirement annuity plan, its all been rosy since they have been taking my money every month all these years. In January 2013, the company i work for stopped all payment's to third parties, so the policies stopped payment. The last payment was received in January. I had been paying them for so long I had actually forgotten about them. It only came to my attention in May that they had lapsed, and I don't blame them for the lapse. However, when I am supposed to get all the moneys i had accumulated over the years, i am being sent from pillar to post. I have been to the branch 4 times and have been sent back each time to get docs. docs they ddnt ask for when I signed. I can't afford to be there all day as i have a job to get to. Today was the last straw, 04 July 2013, the offices close at 17:00 and I rushed there from work, i got there at 16:35 and was relieved to see the doors still open. But to my dismay, when i got inside they told me they stop working with policies at 16:15, I mean if all their clients are supposed to be people who are employed, when are we supposed to be helped?
