Budget Insurance

I have been having a policy with budget insurance for car and household for a very long time. My previous address l had alarm system and burglar doors and they were very happy to give me cover. I have now moved to the new address and l phoned them about two weeks ago to inform them of my change of address and new conditions of the house since l have not completed the structure. They rejected covering me for household items saying l do not have burglar doors and windows. I just felt unfair because what is the purpose of having insurance if they only cover you if there is no risk . l just feel that if l can put alarm system, burglar doors and windows and electric fence there wont be a need for insurance which means they only want to benefit from us not vise verso. I asked them to speak to management and its more than a week now since they said he/she will phone me back. I have paid this month 's premium and what will happen to that premium since l am no longer covered? This is really unfair after being loyal to them for such a long time. It shows hat the only objective of budget insurance is to reap people not to assist them in cases of need. I was expecting premium increase of course
