I am utterly disappointed in the service which I have received from Sanlam for an annuity payout after my husband passed away.
I waited forever for them to come back to me after the initial submission of documents and was told that my name is in the system and I must just wait until in is my turn to be helped, 2 months later I only receive an answer, now I have decided where I would like to invest these funds (not with Sanlam obviously) now its the same story. I have been waiting for more than a month now and they still can't give me a date for pay out.
This is totally pathetic and unacceptable in this day and age of technology in which we live. How outdated are their systems??? Seriously!!! And in the meanwhile what do they think my children and I must live off?
I have had enough and would like to warn everybody out there to stay as far away from Sanlam as possible, they are all sweet talk when selling policies and making all kinds of promises but when it comes to pay out then you see what they are actually made of.
