AA leaves me out in the cold

I have a contract with a new insurance company effective from 1st August 2013 and all along I was covered by AA.I called them to tell them that at the end of July I won't need their services anymore.they affirmed me that since they have already billed me for the month of July I will be covered till end month now I have my house key broken at the door and they kept me waiting for 4 hours already in the cold when I ask why aren't they assisisting me as promptly as they did in the past they told me my acccount with them is cancelled to my surprise was of the view that since they debited my hard earned money for the month of July I was covered.my plea is that i WANT BACK MY JULY PREMIUM COZ EVIDENTLY I AM NOT COVERED.WHAT IF I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT.I am now entering into my 5th hour in the cold!!! never been so annoyed.
