Discovery Insurance always have a hidden clause

We went to Emperors Palace about 6 months ago. My husband was driving in the parking looking for parking, a lady who was suppose to stop at the stop street did not stop and just drove right into us in the parking. She apologised and said her insurance will cover because it is her fault and she even wrote a letter stating that it is her fault and she did not look where driving, she is with Discoverys Insurance. My husband has been trying for 6 months now to get the vehicle repaired. He has been phoning almost every week and no one gets back to him. Today they sent him a letter stating that they will only pay 70% of the damage to his vehicle, which one of their assesors has given a qoute on and he must pay the other 30%. The total amount that they are willing to pay out is R 1600.00!! How ridiculous! My husband went to another panelbeater to give him a qoute and they said it would be close to R 10 000 in damages. We wanted to go to Discoverys insurance because we have our medical aid with them but i am so glad i did not. I feel sorry for the woman whose insurance it is! Alot of people told us not to go to discovery insure and I now see why.
