Unacceptable

I applied for a person loan from Absa and was pre approved for R149 000. I send in all documentation required only to be told from the consultant that hey cant confirm employment as the company i work for is not in the yellow pages? The company i work for is all over on net- fully registered. We are a manufacturing distributor and do not supply directly to the public hence the reaso why there is no reason for the company to be listed on the yellow pages. We are on Brabys, sa business find and many other address books. The company is coatings Technical Automotive.

Please could you be so kind as to have this investigated as it leaves me in a very frustrating position as this is totally unacceptable. Do i need to leave my job and find a company that is specifically registered in the yellow pages to obtain a loan?? i have never heard of something like this and have never had a problem with any other bank-it's totally un heard of. I have been a Absa credit card client for many many years and this is the treatment ABSA gives it's clients. Shocked to the max! please could someone that really knows what they are doing assist me in this regard
