African Bank
African Bank no longer GREAT!!!

Wednesday I phoned into the Call Centre where my loan was approved and I was informed to only supply any African Bank Branch with some paperwork. Friday I arrived at the Voortrekker Rd Branch where everything almost ran smoothly until the person advised me that the complete application has to be done over - I stayed patient, after signing the contract I asked when will the funds be paid into my account. Jabulani informed me that he doesn't know as my Company is not registered on their Data Base and Head Office is very behind with their work - I informed him that this was unacceptable to inform me of this after I signed. I contacted the Call Centre to see if the process can be speeded up. I told them the purpose of the loan is to have the money now and not whenever, I will have to cancel it then as it serves no point for some time in the future loan. The Call Centre Advisor replied with " Then cancel if you wanna cancel" WoW - now that's customer service - not even trying to assist me nor resolve the query. I phoned the Call Centre today to cancel and they started with phone this number, then this number then this number, etc. What a waiste of my time!!!
