Poor service from AIG re hospital plan

I have a hospital plan with AIG. After submitting a claim via registered post during the 1st week of June 2013 I followed up on 8 July 2013 because of no reply. I was told that there is no such claim. I then resubmitted the claim telephonically and forwarded all documentation to them by fax but heard nothing.
On 19 July I followed up again and spoke to Andy. He initially said that the claim is registered but he could not find any supporting documents. I informed him of the fact that the documents were submitted on 8 July 2013 by fax. After some search he found it. He then said he will send it to claims and I should get results in about 2 weeks time. This is not acceptable and I think is extremely poor service.
