It has just been one of those months and I had completely forgot to pay my credit card.
I received a phone call on the 11/07/2013 asking if I was going to pay my account and how much I was going to pay.
I responded saying I will pay by the end of the day and that I will pay about R600 (he didn't correct me saying this was too little)
I paid my R600 and went on as normal.
Then on the 16/07/2013 I receive an sms stating they reducing my limit.
Confused I went and double check my statement and for the first time in about 4months it was more than R600.
I then paid another R500 into my account to ensure that it covered the payment.

On the 19/07/2013 I phoned virgin and asked them why they reduced my limit.
Response - account in arrears.
I think that is ridiculous. I have had the same card for about 4years and never missed a payment before now.
Why penalise a client that has missed one payment... can understand multiple payments but ONE.
Please return my limit to what is was or as soon as card paid up I will be cancelling it.
