Call Centre has no clue what is going on with ipad

At the end of June, I applied for an ipad online, the website said to allow 10 working days for delivery.
I waited 10 days and no one had contacted me. So I called FNB and was told that the application for the device has already been approved and dispatch will call me to arrange delivery. A week later I still did not hear anything back. So I called FNB again today, and the agent tells me, no, it takes between 15 - 20 working days for delivery and I must just wait for dispatch to call me. I thought this was strange how the delivery time had changed so I called FNB back in the afternoon, only to be told no, it takes 10 - 15 days and I should have heard something by now. The new call agent said she escalated my issue and I should hear back within 3 days on when I can expect delivery.
Soon after my call to FNB, someone from FNB calls me back, asking me if I am still interested in applying for an ipad as he would like to assist me with my application!!
I have already been through the entire application process, and your call center told me it had been approved already!! What the is going on?
FNB is spreading themselves too thin, maybe they should just stick to banking.
