8weeks after accident still no car!

Following my previous complaint, how is it possible that just no one at my insurance cares or even wonder why my car has been gone for almost 7 weeks and it is still not fixed!! It was just the one side of a bonnet that was damaged, so every week we call the panel beater (Virgin insurance's very reliable contractor) and every week there is a new told to us. For the past 3 weeks "the paint has been drying". And the claim assessor is no where to be found... when I called him this morning he also reckons it has been taking way too long yes!!
So why doesn't he do something about it!!! We have been without a car for 2 months now and it seems it is just the tip of the iceberg. Would love to hear the excuses?
