In mid June my access bond which is jointly held was blocked without notice. My partner, who's account is linked to the bond was told that she needed to supply ID and proof of residence to the home loans dept. via a branch. Receipt would be confirmed by a phone call which never came. The next day the teller said she had tried 3 times but the lines were busy and would try again? The teller confirmed that they had been sent and received. The next day, my partner called home loans and was told that they hadn't been received, she was directed to the branch for the 3rd time, and was told the branch teller was lying! She was particularly rude. A complaint (Ref. 39518432) was raised and largely ignored as was a facebook complaint. The following day we were contacted by the home loans department to say that the documents had arrived, but it could take 4 days to release the account. On 1 July I left for UK for 8 weeks, with no resolution. A couple of days later my partner was told that they needed my ID and proof of residence. Why not earlier? And why so incompetent? An unrelated previous complaint on hello peter was ignored by SB. Account now blocked for 6 weeks with no interest from SB
