DISGUSTING SERVICE- REIMBURSEMENTS

We have experienced nothing but pathethic customer service from Essential Med.

My husband as the policy holder, had an accident on Saturday, 27 April 2013 which resulted in us having to rush to the Emergency Room at St George's Hospital in PE.
First of all none of the "customer care" consultants on the after hours contact numbers, were able to explain to us what the actual procedure is for after hours claims.
However, after he received treatment for his torn ligament to his ankle, the after hours hospital bill was R 1637.93- which we paid out of our own pocket.
Thereafter we paid the R 395 to the X-Rays account as well. Total of 2032.93

However, after NUMBEROUS submissions of all the documents. After Essentialmed telling us we have to resubmit due to a 'restructuring internal issue" of their staff. AFTER nearly 2 and a half months, we have still only received back a reimbursement of R792.47.

We have spoken to Customer Service as well as Rene Harris and Leandra Bantom- and STILL we are waiting?!
I have sent numerous e-mails and still no resolution.

This is ridiculour service received from Essential Med and we will surely NOT be recommending them to any other person.
