I drew money at a standardbank ATM on the 5th June. My card was cloned and money was drawn from my account until emptied. The next morning I had a sms from standard bank that they say I must phone urgently. I phoned the next day which was the 6th June. They ask me if I made the withdrawals and I confirmed that I have not! They said they will open a case and I must go to a the bank to fill in an affidavit. This I did the same day. I was told that this matter will be sorted out within 10 working days! I received an email saying that I need to fill in a affidavit, this was after actually driving to the bank and completing 1. This happened on Monday the 10th of June so I completed 1 again.By this time I tough they have started with the case but NO they did NOT. This was after actually telling everyone how good standard bank was to sms me and a tough they will be helpful. SURPRISE now I have phoned 3 times (10-15 min hold-on) in the past week to find out what is going on and every time I am told they will get back to me! It's been 17 working days and I have not received any feedback yet! The best is the fact that they sms me to say may card is over limit! I know you should 2
