I contacted ABSA Vehcile finance to query why a debit order still ran after my vehicle was settled. After holding on because the first assistant could not help me, I managed to get through to another consultant who informed me that it was short paid a R100 by the dealer. The amount was also only settled two days (although) I told them the dealer sent me proof that the amount was paid on the 24th. I was told hold and held on, for about 15 minutes I waited only to hear the call was cut. They had my personal details on the phone as I have confirmed it, could they not phone me back like any decent provider would do to resolve the issue. I tried to phone back to the settlements department and was told to speak to the accounts department and was transfered, I held on for another 10 minutes the phone just ringing, I eventually put down the phone as I am phoning from my cell phone and have already wasted nearly an hour with no help from ABSA. I would like to know are they going to refund me or should I take the matter further.
