I opened 2 x fluid acc for my minor children, via a consultant @ branch. I specifically asked if all is in order for my children to access their money as my daughter left to JHB the next day. On attempting to make a purchase in JHB she couldn't access her money, what an embarrassment to a 14 year old. With a huge story to get this sorted as I am in Durban, we now find out that the bank has deactivated both my children's accounts, as my daughter entered the wrong pin number, which is the correct pin number!?

What is the use of making the effort to go into the bank, have things done "correctly", when the employees miss inform you, and cause huge embarrassment and inconvenience. I work 5 days a week, very long hours and the branch refuse to activate my children's cards, even after all the security checks have been done, and even though this is their mess up. I personally need to go into the bank again.

I repeat. I specifically asked the consultant to ensure we have NO PROBLEMS AND OR TROUBLE WITH THE ACCOUNTS AND OR CARDS as my child was leaving to another province. FNB's service levels are really not much to be desired, considering we've been clients for what 14 years.
