I AM PENSIONER, WHO HAS THE VEHICLE MENTIONED ABOVE, FOR 2.5 YEARS. FOR THE LAST -15YEARS we are customers with Santam Boere Multiplex. So is our vehicle also covered under this insurance.
Last month ABSA decided a Hollard Vehicle insurance policy would be a nice bonus on their system, since somebody at ABSA decided I didn't have insurance on my above mentioned vehicle...
Needless to say ABSA IS WRONG!!! An amount of R626 was deducted, on somebody's decision who clearly didn't know what they were doing, I suspect the debit order for the same amount will go down at the end of June 2013 again.
If this problem isn't sorted out, from ABSA's side, I will go to the ombudsman and also to my lawyer, for illegal deductions on my account, since that is the case, because an ABSA employee is most probably looking for a bonus, but definitely at the wrong place.
NO LETTERS OR SMS's were received in connection with anything to this matter. No phone call was received either from ABSA, to find out if their information in connection with my vehicle's insurance was correct.
The money MUST be back in my account or ABSA will have to face the consequences. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!
