First National Bank
Unknown Supplier of Cellphone delivered by FNB

Business & Finance

Not only could I not get help in repairing an IPhone 5 received through FNB, but FNB does not know who was their supplier! I received a phone from FNB delivered to my work, 4 months later on 17 June 2013 the phone goes on a "searching for network " mode. I immediately on 18 june go to my service provider Vodacom to get help only to find that it's a software issue problem. I consult with IPhone on the same day and they advice that I back up the phone and bring it in for a reboot. I do just that and on 19 June they try to reboot the phone and they fail however provide me with a loan phone. My phone returns from technicians with the advice that I should contact FNB, which I did on 24 June speaking to Themba at the call centre. He tells me to take the phone to Cell C not knowing if they will assist or not. I get there today and I am told its not a Cell C phone. I call numerous times to Themba keeping me on hold forever to no avail. Went into an FNB branch and they too could only make calls. The best "how can we help you" was " how can we get hold of you after 2 days"! So I left the phone at the Glen FNB, who knows, FNB might have provided me with a unit! My bank failed me!
