On 25 December i noticed that my vehicle payment was around R400 higher than what it normally is. I called ABSA and they told me insurance has been added, this after the vehicle is insured my Mutual and Federal. They then gave me the number 0860053421 and i spoke to John (2nd in charge). He said that they tried 3 phone calls, 2 sms, and a letter to confirm whether the vehicle is still covered and then just proceeded to add insurance. I have not received either phone call nor sms and certainly no letter. He then contacted Mutual and Federal and obtaibe a schedule from them, as i refused as they created the problem and should not inconvenience me. He then called me back to confirm that M&F provided the policy and that they would refund me within 7 days. This conversation took place on 31 December and to date, i have not received the refund. I want my money back and also they need to show that attempts was made to contact me to confirm whether the vehicle was insured. I also logged a complaint on the ABSA website on 31 December, and to date have not received a response from this as well. Please assist
