How many tyms must I call to cancel the policy??

I took out outsurance policy the begining of june these year and send them the email to cancel it the following day. That never happened. I called them on the 19/06/2013 to cancel since they debeted my account for a the car I don't hv. They forcefull kept me online for over 10min trying to convince me not to cancel. After long chat I was told my policy is cancelled. This morning I got the messege tht outsuarance will debit my bank again on 01/07/2013. Every tym I reverse the debit order I'm getting charged by the bank. Pls help.
