Incompetence to get Tax Directive

I would like to warn anyone that has money invested with Liberty Life, that it is a mission and a half to get your money released to you again. If you are one of the lucky ones that have not yet invested with them, think very, very carefully before you do.
I have been trying for the last 3 months to get my preservation fund out of them. The problem is that they cannot get the tax directive. This is apparently only done via a computer system and now they cannot help anymore as they do know how else to do it.
Believe it or not, it has been declined 4 times now, every time due to incorrect Id number / incorrect tax number and heaven knows what the other reasons were. Is this possible even after I have given them a letter from SARS with ALL the correct details? Come on - this is pure incompetence!!!
The most frustrating part is, that when you phone, you speak to a person in the call centre who promises the heaven and earth and then it seems, promptly forgets about you, as no feedback is ever given. If you are still lucky enough to get a name out of them and phone that person directly, they also do not bother to phone you back of give feedback.
Gave up in 2006 when I tried the same.
