Hi, i have contacted Wonga telephonically for an extension on my payday loan which I have taken in May (due 25th June). I also emailed customer care, and their reply was that"Unfortunately we can't arrange an extension as you agreed to pay us on the date you selected. " I understand that, but because of unforeseen events I will not be able to accomodate for that repayment now. I will not have money in my account. So they want to still debit, knowing that there's no funds available. I have to then pay a penalty for late payment, interest on the loan due to late payment&bank charges! Poor service, if any. I don't know what to do. Is there no way to block/stop this debit until July 25th? And please do not respond with the same message as I received by customer service. it's insulting, I am fully aware of my obligations, I would just like assistance with putting this debit on hold for now.
