Help me understand this

A few weeks ago I put in a claim for things. What brilliant and great service I got. Money was paid out
super fast. I thought gee this is the best service I ever got from a insurance place.

Now the bad part. Got a call yesterday telling me the monthly payments are going up by R50 P/M
So in other words Santam basically just gave me a small loan to repay after 46 months? And still pay there
after.

Im really not happy with this. If I knew this I would one of the two.. Not put in the claim or be skelm about it.

No wonder people jump from one insurance place to another.

I was just about to put a lap top and motor bike onto the insurace as well but it's not worth it.
If it gets I land up paying for it anyhow..
