I requested my credit report and lodged a dispute with XDS on the 03/06/2013. Dispute documents were forwarded both to the dispute mail address as well as Krisala Naidoo. I called yesterday to follow up on the dispute only to find that a very rude Carmen informed me that the dispute was not logged and she will log it and the 20 days will still apply from the 03/06/2013. This morning she called me to request proof of payment for the accounts and I said I would request it, irrespective if i have proof of payment or not, those accounts should not be an issue as it is accounts that have been listed from 2007, even the unpaid accounts would serve as prescribed debts and defaults were supposed to be removed after a period of 2 years, this also applies to accounts not updated for a period of 2 years. You need to update your records accordingly as Experian and Transunion efficiently do. Carmen then threatens to close my dispute this morning and leave the accounts on my record, does she not understand the NCA and who does she think she is to threaten me. I will be reporting this to the Credit Ombud and the NCR, I am utterly disgusted at her manners and attitude.
