I am absolutely disgusted with the customer services that I received from standard banks debt recovery team. I was 1st called by the about 1 week ago apparently I defaulted in a payment onto my personal loan. I told the 1st agent an insurance claim has been put through therefore paying off the loan for the next 6 mnths. Thereafter I have been receive the same call asking me to pay the account, now I mean really! How many people do I need to talk to for std bank to understand. Then I spoke to a lady yesterday that was absolutely rude! Yes I was frustrated at the fact that I have been called so often in the past week but this lady discriminated my voice calling me a lady, and then actually was not convinced she was speaking to the right customer even after I confirmed my DOB! I was disgusted with the way that was handled! Then I told her to read her prev notes which would tell her that she shouldn't be calling me! And she insisted to find out if I made an arrangement to pay! One of the agents that I spoke to told me that I won't be receiving these calls anymore so I dnt see why I am still getting these calls so it leads me to believe that standard banks agents are very incompetant.
