I paid off my standard bank personal loan about 2years ago and got a call to confirm this, then 6months ago a lady from sbsa called me and told me that I owe them about R1800. I told this lady that I've paid it off. 2days later she calls me to apologise and say the account really is paid off. I then get calls from the lawyers that sbsa handed me over to and threatened to take my property. today I decided to pop into sbsa and check if the matter was resolved as the lady had not gotten back to me. The consultant gave me a phone and I called the personal loan contact centre. I spoke to Nkosinathi who was so rude it's embarrassing. He told me my loan had accumulated interest from a mere R98 that had been short paid, and told me how I was contradicting myself how dare you? So tell me sbsa not only are your people incompetent and a bunch of bullies but is your way of conducting business people especially salary clients. I am appalled considering how long you've been in the business. And the saddest thing is I have been telling all my colleagues, friends, family and my students about how great you guys are, bad idea.
