First National Bank
Bad service with repairing damaged goods

Business & Finance

I purchased an iPhone 5 smart phone device through FNB in February 2013. My phone has recently been giving me problems. The speaker seems to be damaged and the Wi-FI is not working. I spent most if my day on the phone yesterday trying to explain to consultants what the problem is with the phone. They sent me from one department to another. Thereafter they gave me a Cell C contact number, the consultant there confirmed that I was not on their system and that I would have to call FNB again and find out who I should speak to. I spoke to more FNB consultants who were unable to assist me and one even told me to call MTN. Eventually I was told to take my phone to the nearest i-store. The service department confirmed that my phone is faulty, however the said they do not deal with repairs. The I-store consultant said I should take the phone back to FNB for them to repair the phone. I called the FNB smartphone division again today and the consultants are still unable to assist. I spoke to a consultant to verify my details, the phone cut off and I have to call and get the run around again. The service fat I have received from FNB in the past two days has been poor.
