On 16 October my father passed away. Ad They has a policy with Hollard I contacted the Call centre on 0800 252 467 and informed them of his passing. They faxed me a claim form on 16 October 2012 at 14h31. They informed me that the policy was not a year old and that my fathers funeral will not be covered through the policy. They told me that they would refund my mother my fathers portion as soon as they have received all the documentation from us. On 19 November 2012 we confirmed with them that all the documentation was received. We also queries the premuim amount as the amount deducted from my parents bank account was almost double the amount quoted for the policy.

In December we contacted them again and they asked us to contact them in the new year as it is holiday seasoon and they are not working on any claims.

On 7 January 2013 we spoke to Tashika who told my mother that the policy nr on the claim was incorrect and that is why no payment was been made to refund her, she would have also looked into the matter of the premuim for her and call her back. She never did. Upo to now our queries are being ignored.

Their current excuse is our docs are tlder than 3 months.
