I am extremely disappointed. I joined in September 2011 and have never claimed until now.
I have a 2006 Mini Cooper under the policy. I took my car to the agents for routine servicing on 07/05/2013. The agents refused to deal with Hollard due to poor payment history, so I had to pay and claim. I contacted Hollard claims department on Wed 08/05/2013 and spoke to Anru. He also provided me with my policy number - I had never received any written policy documents since joining.
I then contacted Hollard again on Thurs 09/05/2013 after paying for the car and spoke with Nico, who provided me with an email address to forward my invoice to. The amount was around R5711.

I have NOW received a payment of R1500 into my account. I called to ask why there was incomplete coverage and was told I should' ve read my policy and that the back discs and brakes on my vehicle were not covered!! This is absurd as I was told differently when I joined and was assured that such claims would be covered -- that is why I pay close to R500 every month!!!

The website and sales people misrepresent what the policy covers. This cannot go on.
