Claim payout different for same cellphones

Good day

I have have claimed with Edgars Maponya and the claim was R4500 for Blackberry 9800 and yesterday at Jabulani Mall, a lady got a payouit of R5000 for the same cellphone I have claimed for and today 05/06/2013 I called the call centre just to find out what makes the difference, I was then told that the person who was helping me did'nt check with the store on how much the cellphone is now. I feel violated and abused and I need my R500 to be refunded to me and failing to, I will take this to the Ombudsman as no one explained what I needed to do before even receiving the payout. This is very unfair treatment of customers and now I am being blamed for taking the pay out and that I have already used it for buying another phone. I want my R500.00 back
