I've recently changed companies which I informed my bank (FNB) about it, I went three time to the bank to update my information - the last time I went was to cancel my BOND debit order of which I was informed by the consultant that everything was in order.

On pay day (27th) my bond was taken from my salary, the bank also debited however, I went to the bank on the 28th to get clarity and I was told that the bank couldn't cancel the debit order immediately without checking if my company will really pay the money from their side which is fair however, if someone had advised me from the beginning so that I can make arrangements for my other debit orders to be paid on time.

The money was reversed in my bank account but the bank debited AGAIN the following day - intensely preposterous of them!!

I sent an email to FNB info and Bond Admin of which Trientjie responded asking for my detail which I gave but NEVER reverted to me again! Sent him an email yesterday but he didn't reply.

I'm now sitting with unpaid debit orders, companies collecting their monies from me, FNB also deducted money for unpaid debits which I think is not fair!!!
