Etain policy funds

My Mother in-law past away two weeks ago. I did not panic as i had two funeral policies which i paid for by debit order for the last eleven years. on receiving the death certificate we went to claim on the two policies. As we are from North West Prov and the mother inlaw had to be laid to rest in East London in the Eastern Cape. So there was the trip down for the family. I still did not panic as the two policies would cover the costs. At the Rustenberg Branch after a very unhelpfull group the policies were claimed on. We were told the money will be in my account within a couple of days. It was but to my regret not all of the money. The same amount from each policy was paid sort. I first thought its tax but i phone and was told they keep money back to check if all the monthly payments were made. I know if you are sort they do not payout the policy. i feel this is not what the company advertisers as they imply they pay with no issues. As i was sort i had to beg, borrow and to make ends meet for the funeral.
