Home Loans a joke

After submitting ALL the documentation required for a Home Loan application with Xolisile at the Greenstone Branch, I get a response a week later stating that my application has been cancelled due to the fact that I am a Shareholder in a Company. I explained numerous times that I am in fact a Director and not a Shareholder, but they can not seem to grasp the concept. They once again get back to me, This time the "TEAM LEADER", stating that they can not proceed due to me being a Shareholder. It amazes me how other Financial Institutions have been able to approve my Home Loan application, even though I do not bank with them, yet MY bank, who I have been banking with for the last 15 years can not. Nowhere on CIPC does it state a Directors Shareholding, if any, in a company. I have requested proof of me being a shareholder and am still waiting for that. Throughout this whole process though, nobody has bothered to pick up the telephone to discuss this with me. They just send emails, matter of factly, stating that my application has been cancelled. My experience with the Greenstone Branch has left me angry and bewildered at the lack of simple customer service!!!
