Outsurance didn't pay me R400 even though they couldn't beat my

I got a quote from Outsurance which was not less than my current insurance from Dial Direct (it was, in fact, significantly more). When I asked about getting the R400 they promise in their advertising I was told to stay on the line. They then cut me off. When I phoned again with my reference information and complained they said someone would call me shortly. This never happened. I find it appalling for a company to base their entire advertising theme on a promise which they then break.
