I'm not good enough?

Seriously, I am so upset right now. I applied for a job with African Bank yesterday to work in the Somerset West area. And this morning I get a call about a position that they have as a sales consultant, as you can imagine I am over the moon with excitement. I am then asked if I have any experience in the sales division to which I answer yes, as a high schooler I used to work in retail and at present I do point of sales to walk in clients. I am used to working under pressure and being goal driven. Ok so I work in an office environment at present... and apparently, that is the reason they won't consider me? I mean really? You have not even looked at my CV and your making judgement calls based on a 2 minute conversation? That really is so pathetic. I have more knowledge about the financial structures of companies than most people, and I'm not an asset? I start to think that some of us living in South Africa, who actually want to succeed in life, will just not be given that chance and it breaks my heart. I was a fool for even thinking I would be considered! You need to get your HR group into gear, as they are letting good people slip through the companies fingers.
