Poor service from Instantlife insurance

I suffered substantial hearing loss and lodged a claim against my Instantlife Critical Illness policy. My claim was lodged on 5 March 2013. I provided all available supporting documents and medical reports. I have not received any outcome to my claim to date. In fact, Instantlife is failing to respond to my queries as to why I am not receiving any outcome to my claim. I have made numerous requests, the last one on 14 May 2013. My requests for reasons are unattended to and I am not updated at all. My premiums are promptly deducted by debit order, but my claim is being treated in an extremely dilatory manner. I am of the view that Instantlife has no basis upon which they can rely to justify their delay and failure to provide me with updates insofar as their assessment is concerned. Their acquiescence leads me into questioning their good faith. If they felt that I do not qualify, then surely they could provide me with a reason within three months. I believe other consumers should be made aware of their processing of a claim. It took less than an hour for them to issue the policy.
