On the 22/04 we cancelled our policy on ref no 20959411 because we were not happy with the service of a recent claim. We put a stop on the monthy debit order premium, R1431.00 (just to be on the safe side) and low and behold, outsurance debited our account in the amount of R2015.44. This was supposedly for the life insurance added to the policy which we explicitly told numerous outsurance callers we were not interested in as we were cancelling. On the 03/05 I spoke to Bongani Nkosi (ref no 21067170/21067465) who assured me that i would be refunded within 7 days, which has come and gone. I want my full refund of R2015.44 (not a portion as stipulated by Bongani) immediately. I did not authorise Outsurance to add to my policy, I cancelled well in advance and cancellation means all coverage of said policy whether it be buildings or life cover. You cannot just do as you please where my account and money is concerned. I demand my refund and not in 7 days and I do not want your staff calling me with and empty promises, the next call i receive should tell me my refund has gone through. This is really unethical business practice and unacceptable. I can be contacted between 8am - 1pm only.
