CLAIM TAKING FOREEEEEVER TO BE RESOLVED!!

It really gives me no great pleasure to report this but we are at our wit's end. My father who passed away in February 2012 had a retirement annuity policy with Metropolitan. We were contacted about this policy and that we needed to claim this money from them. Since around December last year my mother has been in the process of claiming this money. She would be asked to submit one thing and upon submission, she would be asked to submit another. And so it continued for the last couple of months, going back and forth, at the discretion of her own time and money. It's been about six months now and the claim has still not been resolved and no money has been paid out. We are really sick and tired now of wasting our time and money and I believe all the documentation required was submitted. When contacting your department, they give us long stories and most don't even know how to assist you but it does not seem that anybody is trying to help and get this resolved. I am just utterly disappointed and we are just very tired now of getting the run around. Can this just please get resolved as this is really putting strain on my mother.
