I am having a problem getting a proper response or feedback from the Credit Customer Assist department for my Debt Consolidation Application.

When I made the application I was told a trunk total of 15 working days is the waiting period. When I called after that they said it will be bit longer as they have a backlog of 4000 applications and it has not been assigned to a manager as yet. I called a week after that again and was told it was assigned to a manager for further processing. I called again a week after that and was told that it was still allocated to a manager for further processing and that there is delay due to backlogging. Now ' I work for a financial institution and am well aware of what it takes to get back logging up to date but it's been a month now so this is kind of ridiculous. When they were called last week again it was said that I would definitely have an answer by Monday as in today (27/05/2013). So when I called this morning I was told that my application was in fact not even allocated to a manager for processing.

I have been misinformed for double the required time now' I depend on Standard Bank for professional financial solutions.
