Unscheduled debit orde

I have a scheduled debit order on my account for the 26th. Two days ago i get a sms stating that the debit order has been moved to the 22nd of the month on the day of my salary.

I only get paid on the 25th of the month so i phoned Nedbank complaining about the sms i received. Nedbank assures me that this sms was a mistake as the system shows the debit order as the 26th.

Today i check my account to find the funds have been taken regardless of me complaining about the issue.

Nedbank today states that if there is funds in the account the debit order will run before the date sue to some tracker that runs on your account. Nedbank is not allowed to take funds from your account if a debit order was signed for a specific date.
