Switching to FNB not as easy as it seems

I have been listening to these adverts for years. I tried to switch to FNB a few years ago (I still have all the mail trails) and no one got back to me so I gave up on it.
Last week I decided to try again, tempted by the ebucks of course, and it has been such a frustrating process. I have phoned and just get transferred over and over as I am in a land of limbo in the sales process with each department being so disconnected from the next. It has been 7 working days since my second attempt at switching to FNB.
Currently I have three outstanding issues and a colleague has recommended that I vent here as this is the only way to get action.
-Cheque card received, but with no overdraft, which I requested during the application process. I then followed up for an overdraft and have had no feedback on where I am in the process
-Revolving credit - I have done everything I have needed and have had no update or response on where I am in the process
-Credit card - I was called last Wednesday 15th May and told I would be emailed a quotation - still waiting.
I do think the people who answer the call centre are great and try to be helpful, but it seems they cannot do anything to assist me!
