On Thursday 16 May 2013 I haad called Outsurance to make changes on my policy. I spoke to a consultant named Sipho who transferred me to a senior consultant named Hein.
After speaking to Hein and getting all the needed information, I asked Hein to call me back on Friday 17 May 2013 at 15:00 since I needed to finalise some things- I informed him that I would give him a yay or nay on Friday. He promised to call back...
Friday came and went, and on Monday 20 May I still hadn't heard anything so I sent an e-mail. I'm STILL waiting for a response!!
This is not the first time that Outsurance has been this tardy regarding follow-ups; perhaps the consultants get so much basic salary that they are not interested in commission or client service, or perhaps their customer service has just become like most of South Africa's: NONEXISTANT!
Let's see whether I get a call back this time around- otherwise I will use the competition.
