Dear Peter,

On 18 April someone drove into me. The accident was not my fault. The person responsible uses Auto & General as their insurance company. Right from the start the level of service from the consultants at auto and general were extremely poor. There was no communication regarding the repair of my vehicle and I constantly had to phone the numerous consultants to find out when my car will be repaired. Now, more than one month later my car is in for repairs, just to find out that the courtesy car I was promised does not exist. I am a sales person and my car is essential for earning an income, now I am also left stranded and it is effecting my day to day life.

I find this lack of customer service, false promises and poor communication extremely unprofessional and I am very disappointed in auto and general. I also now suffer from whiplash due to the injury and will incur significant medical expenses for treatment.

How can it take so long to sort out a claim?
