Tardiness withh claim No.767014

I would like to know why AIG is suddenly asking for additional information, Docters motivation, before they can attend to the claim. I have had my policy no. MDR000133286 since 1999 and have never before been asked for information like that apart from 1. claim form 2. bank statement 3.Hospital particulars. Using a military hospital I do not receive an account because military personell do not pay for hospitalisasion.
I would like to know why this claim is treated differently from all the claims I have done in the past.
There were several monitary expenses that had to be met as a result of this hospital stay, transport costs, and other matters.

Please advise urgently
