New Private Banking Customer With No Joy

I have agreed with SBSA to upgrade from my savings account to a cheque / current account with private banking. The process was kicked off on approximate date of 25 / 26 April 2013. I am still waiting on my new cards. I as well was initially promised that all my debits will be switched by SBSA but on 8 May 2013 was advised that SBSA could not switch four of my debits due to Standard Bank not having arrangements or agreements with certain service providers. This is unacceptable as i had to take time from my busy work day to sort this. If this could not have been done, i would have appreciated it that i was told this at the beginning and not promised the world. I was under the impression that this would have required the least interaction from my side, guess i was wrong. I as well believed that it would be the private bankers job to be on hand to assist and deal any mails sent to him / her but again i was wrong. Its now 15 May 2013, i am still waiting on my cards and confirmation that all my debits have been switched correctly.
