What staggeringly pathetic service from "beep" bank... yes, FNB must be having a field day with the massive exodus of Nedbank clients to a bank that clearly has customer service as top of mind! Last year (Nov 2012) I asked Nedbank for a 1 month premium holiday to sort out a financial problem that had happened due to a salary glitch on my side. Without hesitation, after checking my 100% track record, they agreed that I can pay it back over the next 2 months, thereby bringing everything back in line. I gladly accepted this kind offer & asked that they institute the debit order to do just that. Well, it is now May 2013 and I have had to make various eft payments myself in order to bring it back on track... no debit orders went off as promised. Only the beginning of this month I got a call from Legal Services (Solomon) threatening me - he is "handing my papers over for collection" as the premium for May had not been made. No debit order AGAIN and I'm not even 30 days behind.
So I tried calling 0116670000 to speak to him - THREE times I called, was put through to a fax line, the 4th time, I complained guess what the switchboard did? She put me on hold forever... lovely Nedbank., hello FNB
