On the 13th of April I purchased groceries at Pick n Pay Cornwall - they swiped my card and then immediately went off line - they swiped again on their mobile unit and the transaction went off twice from my account. I immediately contacted Pick n Pay's accounts department and was advised that from their side they did contact standard bank and that standard bank had to reverse the amount back into my bank account. I contacted Standard bank and was advised that there is a turn around time of 12 working days in order to get the money back into my account. its now 15 days and still no money. Phoned again yesterday and was not at all impressed by the way my query was handled. I'm not impressed at all!
