I have a client who travels overseas quite regularly with prospective clients & building new & meeting with existing overseas associates. Because of challenges experienced when using his business card overseas last time, I made sure that I advised who I THOUGHT were the correct people of his travel plans - dates, itinerary etc. I was assured that all was in order, only to get an SMS from my client on Mon last week, to say his card was being declined! I immediately called Corp Card, only to be told that I should have let Div know of his plans. I duly advised Div immediately & was assured that all was in order. So imagine my DISMAY on waking up this morning (Sat) to an SMS saying that the card is still being declined! I immediately phoned (7:15am) & was told that there was a block on the card because f the frequency the card was being used, & they were unable to contact my client. There seemed to be a genuine "aha" moment when I pointed out that there is quite a time difference! They refused to lift the block, despite my access to the account & I have had to send my client a text with the number HE has to call to lift the block! MOVING BUSINESS FORWARD - LIKE!
