I submitted an online homeloan application over a year ago and was recently asked by the attorneys of my purchased property to come and sign documents. I noticed on the New Home Loan Agreement that they had spelt my name incorrectly. I called in to the bank and this amendment was apparently done (ref 51332446).
The attorneys called me this morning and said they still had not received the amended documents. I then called your bank again this morning and was asked to verify security details. I answered all the questions and noticed that the agent had accepted details that she had wrong on her side such as my physical address and cell phone number. She then proceeded to tell me that she was going to inform me of this when I corrected her. Why do the security check then? I was also told that she cannot amend any details and woul have to go into the bank to do so. I had filled out my forms correctly online. Why may I ask am I now to go in to the bank to change something that you have typed up incorrectly on your end? I was reaching frustration point and asked to speak to another consultant when I was put on hold for over 15 minutes. Surely this is not what customer service is?
