Account still open!

I paid off and closed my Nedbank personal loan 2 months ago. I keep requesting a letter of confirmation, but have still not received this. My credit report shows this report as not updated and I was even handed over to the collections department last month! How long can it possibly take to close an account with Nedbank? Everytime I request this I am promised to receive a confirmation letter within 48 hours, more than a week has passed and still nothing. The full amount was paid, so please, can we get this over with now???
